Last month, Art x AM (the content production arm of AMG) supported the product launch of an RDU-based hair & beauty company by ideating a concept for the brand and executing that strategic vision for the client.
Luxxe Life Hair Group is owned and operated by Jomriel "Jo" Allen (Durham), a self taught hair stylist who has served the RDU community for over 4 years.
Jo always had a passion for hair, but found it hard finding good quality hair extensions at an affordable rate. This led her to researching the industry for 2 years before taking a leap of faith and rolling out a pilot project to test the market by selling her own hand crafted creations.
Luxxe Life Hair Group offers a wide variety of hair units, after care, and beauty products to support every grade and texture of hair. As an ode to Jo's late mother. She stamps "for Ethel" on the side of her products to commemorate her passion for hair and fine wigs.
Jo's latest line of raw hair (unprocessed) products include closures, bundle deals, and human-grade hair which is provided by a single donor and sourced directly from their origin countries (Burma, Vietnam, and Cambodia).
Over the years, Jo has been able to build an impressive portfolio of notable clients such as, mega influencer, I Am Pretty Vee, platinum recording artist Dreezy, and Youtuber Janai Kirsten, just to name a few. Luxxe Life Hair Group is also a recipient of Durham's Black History Month Grant and have launched the Empower and Inspire Scholarship, which is a reward for incoming freshmen women who are attending an HBCU in North Carolina.
